FINAL Active Parenting Program Training .png
Active Parenting Facilitator Training
This leader training workshop will give you the skills to facilitate this six-week evidence-based parenting program. Participants will be trained in both Active Parenting 4th Edition (for parents with children ages 5-11) and Active Parenting of Teens (for parents of teens ages 12-17).
CEUs: 7

BASICS is an evidence-based prevention intervention for college students who have had an adverse experience with alcohol use, using a Motivational Interviewing approach. CASICS is adapted from BASICS and utilizes this approach to address problematic cannabis use.

Defining Boundaries for Mental Health Professionals
This three-hour training will enhance your practice by learning to define and maintain clinical boundaries, understand legal implication, and explore real-world clinical scenarios through reflection and discussion. This course meets current NYS licensure requirements.

Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Course

* NYS Requirement By April 1st​

​In this two-hour training you will learn strategies to identify adverse childhood experiences, recognize signs of abuse, reduce bias in decision-making, and tackle common challenges through discussion.

Teen Intervene Facilitator Training

The Teen Intervene facilitator training is an evidence based program for professionals who work with youth ages 12-19 with mild to moderate alcohol and/or other drug use. Trainees will be provided with education and tools on how discuss coping skills, goal setting and behavior change to reduce teen use.

This Motivational Interviewing (MI) training is an evidenced-based intervention to engage clients in intentional conversation to help find and strengthen their OWN motivation. This interactive training will give trainees a comprehensive scope of what Motivational Interviewing is and what it is not.

Opioid Education and Naloxone Training
This training is for schools, health professionals, first responders, community members and business and community leaders impacted by opiate addiction. Naloxone training and kits are FREE and available in our community.
