Claire McCarthy-King is a licensed social worker who received her Master’s in Social Work in 1986 from Adelphi University. Since that time, Ms. McCarthy-King has worked in a variety of settings, including residential, day treatment, and out-patient programs. She has experience working with diverse populations including the developmentally disabled, children and adolescents. Ms. McCarthy-King has had extensive training and experience working with those struggling with a variety of mental health issues including severe and persistent mental illness, trauma, substance abuse, mood disorders, relationship issues, anger management, parenting skills, as well as providing marriage and family counseling.
